I love a good chunk of barbecued meat. However, actually cooking on the barbecue can be time consuming and hard to supervise with a small child running under foot. I've recently developed this easy, hands free version of baby back ribs. They might even beat out the barbecued variety.
Ingredients:
1-2 racks baby back ribs
Johnny's Seasoning salt
BBQ sauce
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Sprinkle ribs with seasoning salt on both sides. Place bone side down on rimmed baking sheets lined with foil.
Bake ribs for 2 hours, 10 minutes. If using multiple sheets or cooking multiple racks, rotate half way through. Coat top of ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce. Bake for 20 minutes or until sauce forms a crust. Rib meat should be easily pulled away from bones when done. Slice between bones and serve with extra sauce for dipping.

I've had some success with ribs in the crock pot. Just a bunch of ribs, a bottle of bbq sauce and maybe some sliced onion.
Try this next time: Marinate your ribs in red wine vinaigrette for 3 days in the fridge. Then drop your oven temp to 250 and increase your cooking time to 6 hours. The meat will fall off the bone.
Thanks for the tip!
