I'm asking for help from anyone who reads this blog in the Post Falls area. Since we moved we have been without phone and Internet service. Verizon keeps extending the date they will have our phone line in and we were informed today (two weeks after the original call) that we cannot get our DSL service at our new house. We are confused by this since we moved less than 1 mile to a newer neighborhood and had no problems at our old house.
So the question for all of you out there is: What are our other options for high-speed (not dial-up) Internet in the area?
P.S. For the record, if we had a choice of companies for phone service, we would switch away from Verzion. They have been nothing more than difficult and unprofessional in our moving process.

A couple of things you can do.
1. Contact the public utilities commition and file a complaint against Verizon for failure to provide service. Which I would do anyway because Verizon then get's fined.
2. Go with Direct TV and Direct Way which I believe is now Hughs Net.Satelite
3. Go with Adelphia high speed with internet phone service.
